Here is Christian outside the first day it was sunny and warm enough to go out and play! He just loved crawling around on the sidewalk, BUT he was not a huge fan of the grass.... :)

And, a few nights later, Aaron and I decided to take a picnic dinner to the park! The first park we went to was so packed there was no where to park! We ended up going to our second choice.. but it was still a lot of fun!

Trip to Michigan and Kentucky

Mid-March, Aaron, Christian and I flew to Michigan for a week, and drove down to Kentucky as well overnight. Christian was great.. he slept on all the flights... and nearly the whole drive! I, however, got very, very sick on the flights, as I was in the early stages of pregnancy.... I suspected it, and took a pregnancy test the day after we arrived, which was negative. However, after the miserable flights home, I decided to take another... and, yup.. Christian has a sibling on the way! Anyhow, here are some pictures from the trip!

Before our trip to Seattle, I found Christian like this in bed... I left him there long enough to get the camera to snap a few pictures.. so.. he was pretty mad by the time I got to him with the camera :)

Well.. I'm a little bit late in posting all this..... BUT... Christian and I had a wonderful trip to visit his Grandpa Allen and his Aunts Christina and Catherine in Seattle back in February. We were able to spend one day at Alki beach, downtown Seattle, and at the Space Needle. We even had dinner there.. it was the most amazing dinner EVER! Below are a few of the hundreds of pictures we took... including pictures of the oh so amazing dinner! :)

Christian had to eat and drink everything I had for dinner... So here he is guzzling my water, AFTER eating bread dipped in hazelnut oil:

And here is the first course; pecan crusted artisan goat cheese with crusty bread, a basil arugula salad, and a blackberry syrup... it was sooooooo tasty that I took a few bites before I realized I should take a picture!

For the main course, I had a peppercorn crusted Kobe steak, roasted heirloom potatoes, veggies, with a red wine reduction, also amazing!

And for dessert, a sorbet trio: mango, blackberry, and raspberry, topped with fresh berries and mint:

Christian and I went to Olive Garden on a date tonight, after spending some time at Liberty Park. He just loves swinging.... He ate tomatoes, lettuce, parmesan cheese, dr pepper, bread sticks, fried lasagna, and chocolate cake. He was so excited by all the food.. and was waving at everyone! Here are some pictures of him.... oh.. and notice the one with the coaster.. yeah.. he ate a big bite out of it... hilarious, huh? He wouldn't spit it out either.. he totally swallowed the chunk of cardboard...

Well, this morning, Aaron found Christian with his feet at the end of his bed where his head was when we laid him down, and flipped over onto his back!!!

After his first nap, we found him with both legs somehow into one leg of his pajamas!

And just now, he shared my lunch. He ate off a FORK with no problems! I fed him some cous cous and baby brocoli, soybeans, and water chestnuts... he loved it all.. but was especially fond of the cous cous!! I think that might be what he gets for dinner tonight!! He even drank water out of my water glass... what a big boy!

Well, Christian has decided that everything we drink is his and he has to taste it. He's now tasted water, milk, chocolate milk, and this morning, orange juice. He goes nuts when he sees a cup, so I've decided its time to start letting him try to drink from a cup again. Before, he'd just throw the cup off his high chair.. but later today, we'll try drinking again.. I'm SURE that will be entertaining.... The night of the lost keys..

So.. last week I had an MRI and I was feeling really really bad afterwards and Aaron was going to take me to the ER. We called Sarah and Matt to come watch Christian and they came over.... but, then we couldn't find our keys....they offered up their Jeep to get me there, but I decided to tough it out until I saw the neurologist.... anyways... we went on a wild hunt for those keys! Well, that key. It was just the ONLY KEY TO THE CAR on a caribeaner and my wedding and engagement rings were on it!!!! Our neighbor found them for us the next morning.. but I got a couple fun pictures of the search team in action....

While we were outside, Buffy, a neighborhood cat, came up to our sidewalk, and Hannibal finally had the guts to go greet her.... and, would you believe, I caught it on camera? Hannibal is the kitty on the grass... considering they look so similar... that night.. they both ended up in our house. I set out a can of cat food for Buffy to eat, and Hannibal went to join her... just as they started, the neighbor (who found our keys) let the dog out (a big ol boxer) and he ran chased the cats right up our stairs... it was a much needed laugh!
